DemonTHON inspires students and community members in a year long fundraising effort to not only give support in helping researchers cure childhood illness, but to also give sick children the opportunity to be treated at a Hospital they can call home. DemonTHON is a dance marathon where we stand for 24 hours to celebrate the strength of these children and their families.

At the end of DemonTHON, a count up is projected announcing how much money the DePaul community has raised throughout the year. When the final number hits, you can feel the weight of the impact your year of fundraising has made, coursing through your entire body. You can see this blissful moment, captured in the photo above. This was my favorite memory when participating my freshman year and why I have continued to dedicate my entire college experience to this organization.

β€œOne day we will dance in celebration.
Until then, we dance for a cure.”
